The new DS-48 is based on the SR-48 with a modified airfoil for DSing. A design step intended for and achieved of maximum speed at high angles of attack. This is a well behaved and very responsive glider. Built stock it can weigh under 20 ounces or ballasted to 35 ounces. It can also be built to fly at over 70 ounces if extreme flying is your goal. A very versatile design with proven capability.

The basic Kit is available and for $100. With standard materials you can explore DSing speeds which are more than the average flyer is prepared for. If you want to build for extreme DSing levels A set of special materials is available.
